A blog article about IBDoc® has been published on the Gastroenterology & Endoscopy News website, a No. 1-rated independent monthly newspaper providing news and information for nearly 18,000 gastroenterologists, colorectal surgeons, hepatologists, physician assistants and nurse practitioners.
In the article Toronto-based medical journalist David Wild looked at the IBDoc® system and interviewed Dr. Peter Higgins, MD, the director of the IBD program at the University of Michigan. In the article Higgins is making following statment: “I think that an at-home test that can allow us to tightly control inflammation the way that endocrinologists aim to tightly control glucose levels has the potential to improve IBD outcomes.”
